Why Start Violin with Classical Technique?

Because the violin is a bowed instrument without frets, it may present difficulties at the start. Learning such a demanding instrument takes time; without correct stages, techniques and effective methods, you may face greater difficulties later.

An effective, correct and progressive teaching method therefore draws on studies and techniques written for classical music. Learning through classical technique offers a strong foundation for finger placement and bow use.

After building a classical foundation, you can also adapt your hold and playing style to your preferred genre and play other kinds of music more easily.
