Announcement About Our Working Conditions
Dear Rekor Sanat Teachers,
Our working conditions have steadily improved since 2004. We have always aimed for better opportunities whenever circumstances allowed, and worked with that vision. By helping to build the arts-course sector almost from scratch, we have consistently pursued the highest standards of organisation and quality. We set out with a dream of a more graceful, aesthetic and tolerant world, where the light of art reaches everyone. There were many years of sacrifice: working seven days a week, having no lunch break or annual leave, teaching until 11 at night or from 8 in the morning, and working for very low pay. The efforts, desire to teach and achievements of all our teachers, past and present, have continually moved Rekor Sanat forward. We are grateful to every one of them.
Despite major upheavals such as the pandemic, war and inflation, our working conditions are now better than in previous years. Our goal, however, is for all our teachers always to benefit from the best opportunities. We sincerely want Rekor Sanat teachers to enjoy advantages in every respect.
We have therefore introduced new benefits that will take effect on 1 January 2023. By the coming January, our management system will have been adapted to all these benefits. Software development is currently under way, and we have prepared a website to provide preliminary information. Intended to introduce the benefits to teachers at all our branches and to new applicants, this website currently provides an overview.
We believe that this career system, whose foundations we have carefully developed with the founders of all our branches over the past two years, will evolve and make teaching a genuine career profession. We also aim to gradually put all our rules and conditions into writing and create an e-book. We want a transparent, publicly accessible and straightforward structure containing all the rules, so that everyone can see new updates at the same time.
