About Our Teachers’ Photographs

Dear Rekor Sanat Teachers,

We ask all our teachers to update their teacher photographs in the system.

Where our teachers’ photographs will be used:

* Teacher ID cards
* Personal business cards
* The ‘Our Team’ page on our website
* Article pages on our website
* Our CRM system
* Ministry of National Education personnel files
* The Ministry of National Education’s MEBBİS module
* Potential future press interviews and news reports
* Other media

As explained above, the quality of our teachers’ photographs is very important. Please therefore take care with your clothing, grooming, posture and expression when having your photograph taken.

Here are some suggestions on clothing, grooming, expression and posture, developed in meetings with our advertising agency:

* A collared item of clothing should be worn
* Wear a single-colour garment without writing, prints, patterns or mixed colours
* Hair should be freshly groomed
* Men with a beard or moustache should have it freshly groomed
* Men without a beard or moustache should be freshly shaved
* Women should avoid excessive make-up
* Do not wear accessories or jewellery
* Men should avoid an excessively long or full beard or moustache
* Do not wear gloves, shawls, scarves, beanies, hats, neck scarves, jackets, headscarves or coats
* If wearing a blazer, it should not be leather
* Do not display religious or political symbols, badges, brooches, emblems, motifs or gestures

We also have recommendations for the photo session itself:

* Smile and convey a positive attitude
* Look straight ahead for the photograph
* Fold your hands
* Be relaxed

Important note: Photographs will be taken from the waist up only. The lower body will not be included.
